Sainik School Admissions Open for 2025-26 Academic Year
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the online application process for Sainik School Admissions for the academic year 2025-26, specifically for the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE) 2025. This exam is held annually to facilitate admission to Sainik Schools for Classes VI and IX, as well as for the establishment of new Sainik Schools across the country.
According to the official Sainik School notification released by the NTA, the application window for the 2025-26 session opened on December 24, 2024. Eligible candidates can apply for the AISSEE 2025 entrance exam through the official portal at exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ until 5:00 PM on January 13, 2025.

Sainik School Entrance Exam 2025-26 for Classes VI and IX
The AISSEE 2025 for Classes VI and IX will be conducted by the NTA in March 2025. The specific exam date will be announced soon through a press release. Students will be admitted to Sainik Schools based on their performance in the AISSEE, followed by an e-counseling process and a medical examination.
The exam will be held offline, with candidates marking their answers on OMR sheets. The entrance exam will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) designed to evaluate the candidates' knowledge in subjects such as Mathematics, Intelligence, Language, General Knowledge, and more.
