IIM Sambalpur invites applications for MBA for working professionals

IIM Sambalpur, esteemed for its management education, proudly presents an MBA Degree Program tailored for Working Professionals (2024-2026) at its Delhi Campus. Situated in the heart of India, this campus is strategically located near the business, political, bureaucratic, and educational epicentre.

 

The two-year degree program aims to cultivate entrepreneurial skills, foster innovation, and equip working professionals, strategic leaders, and entrepreneurs with strategies to propel organizational growth. The deadline for online application submission is April 15, 2024.

 

The program’s weekend classes will be conducted in a blended mode, offering the flexibility of acquiring a dual degree from international universities at IIM Sambalpur’s Delhi Campus, located at ISID, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

 

Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director of IIM Sambalpur, emphasizes, “MBA for Working Professionals is a comprehensive program designed for those who aspire to lead, transform, and excel in an increasingly complex and competitive global landscape. The optional international dual-degree program caters to professionals who seek to enhance their management skills and knowledge while remaining engaged in their respective professions.” Participants have the opportunity to specialize in Data Science, Product Management, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Risk Management, and other functional domains. They can also pursue certifications from NSE Academy in Global Enterprise Risk Management (RIMS-CRMP) and Business Valuation Training with Prof. Aswath Damodaran.

 

Eligibility:

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of three years of full-time managerial or professional experience post obtaining their bachelor’s degree by the application submission deadline. The program welcomes applicants of all nationalities.

 

Admission Process:

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their eligibility criteria for a Personal Interview Round.
• Submission of a “No Objection Certificate”/ “Consent letter” from the employer is mandatory.
• Industry-sponsored applicants must provide a sponsorship letter from their respective companies.
• A Statement of Purpose (SOP) reflecting on Career Path & Goals and the Purpose of Joining MBA (Word limit 2000) is required.
• The Selection panel will evaluate applicants based on their managerial and entrepreneurial acumen.
